And so comes the end of the first chapter of the game. Our battle with the earth elementals and the badger continued into the night but strategy, skill and team work won out over conjured elementals and a shape-changed druid. Everybody leveled and we marched back to Oleg's in triumph, but not before dumping the stag lord's corpse into a river, checking on our miners and checking out the temple.
Thus ends chapter one of Kingmaker, next week prepare for chapter two!

15th session
Well that was a nail biter.
15th session was a battle, an epic spooooky battle that we nearly died and lost but managed to pull through. No idea what the swag is but we completed two quests and nearly died several times. We killed Falgrim sneeg and the stag lord.

Next Session
So next session we are still fighting it out, I recall there is a place where I can stand and pump off channel energies for a while, most likely bringing our fallen members back into the fight. Then I can do a few other things including use my wand to deal damage. I really hope Andraste is in the next stage of the fight because we need her evil burnyness and her happy touching.

Stag Lord's Fort
The Stag lord resides in a wooden fort on the southern edge of the stolen lands, it has many little rooms and locations. It is moderately well defended and you generally need a passcode to get in but security is venal at best and can be bribed or tricked.

Session 14
First of two sessions about bringing The Stag Lord to justice, we talked our way in and the Stag Lord aid us to deliver the liquor we where sitting on, the idea being we would attack once we got past the walls but things got muddled while we where trying to rein in Zelata. We got in a huge fight and while there was some early success Zel and Mason got taken down.

Session 5
Session 5
We returned to the trading post after witnessing a genuine miracle in high spirits, we told the cleric where his temple was and of the holy act we had witnessed and collected some cash for killing bandits and I ordered a pavilion with my family's heraldry with my own growing funds. then we decided that the forest was too full of horrors and we should hit the plains for a while, we promptly ran into the hut of an old man who makes the healing potions Oleg sells, he gave us a quest and then we headed east. We found a giant trapdoor spider and I got to try my new cleric powers out. I blessed the party then went behind the party member who was next on initiative and buffed him with touch of luck. The spider bit him and poisoned him and I was able to treat the poison quickly and effectively. Our ranger explored the trapdoor spider's lair and found a corpse with a treasure map and a pendant that is a symbol for the local bandits.
We thanked the quest giver for letting us camp in his yard and then headed east, smack dab into the x of the treasure map. Weird.
The treasure contained some platinum, a ring, some stuff I do not care about and oh my gawd a spellbook!!!
4 spells I did not have before and one I did, in a water damaged spellbook. good on me.
